"Jazz, take you on a unique journey in music!" ― Ditto

Jazz is the 8th level introduced in Rolling Sky 2. In this level, a living suit with a floating hat journeys in a dimension of instruments.

Character

The character is noble for having no head. Instead, a floating bowler cap with blue light coming out from it takes its place. It wears a very similar tuxedo to the conductor from Fantasia, but it's black with an indigo bow tie instead. It wears plain black pants, black slip-ons, and white gloves. It also carries a black crane in its right hand.

Trivia

It's unknown whenever the characters from Fantasia and Jazz are the same person or not; they very similar clothing but are very different otherwise.
The icon shows that it's wearing white socks, but in the actual level, it has no socks at all. Instead, a black void appears between the pant legs & shoes.
There are 3 noble glitches in this level:
- The first makes the character jump on top of the music score and hover across the screen up until the 80% mark. This was later patched out.
- The other one makes it freeze the game if the player pauses at the right moment. This was patched out as well.
- The final one has to do with the Vinicunca update’s revival cutscene: The 2D texture underneath the character's hat is still there even though the rest of it isn't.
In early versions of this level, the path at the beginning can actually spawn a path to the left and right of the middle paths. This was fixed latter on, but since version 1.2.2, it has been back.
